That is why Emile Henry has designed this special loaf baking dish that offers results very similar to those obtained in traditional ovens. The dome-shaped lid enables uniform baking and provides constant moisture, important features in preparing a quality loaf of bread. The lid also allows water resulted from condensation to drip back to the surface of the bread so it can be fully absorbed by the end of the baking process. The evaporation enables the loaf of bread to get baked while it dries. You will, thus, get a loaf with soft, elastic interior and crispy, golden crust on the outside.

Thanks to the ribbed surface of the baking dish, the loaf of bread will not stick and will be easy to remove! Baking your own loaf of bread has become such an easy task! 

The baking dish is accompanied by a cookbook with recipes and practical tips (in English and French) to help you bake a special loaf of bread.

The HR® ceramic, developed in the Emile Henry laboratories, withstands temperatures of up to 270°C and distributes heat evenly across the entire surface of the dishware. The enamel used in finishing protects the product from scratches and chipping (you can cut directly into the dish without leaving scratch marks) making it safe for dishwasher.
