The coffee grinder can process a large amount of coffee beans, ground at various sizes, for different types of coffee beverages, varying from espresso to filter coffee.
Grind the coffee beans directly in the filter or in the ground coffee container.
You can select the number of coffee cups (1-14 cups) or the coffee doses for espresso (1 or 2 cups).

The perfect espresso starts with a good pressing

Tamper is an instrument suitable to press freshly ground coffee into the espresso filter holder before extraction.
Position the tamper in the filter holder and press lightly on the edge of the tamper to be placed perpendicular to the filter holder. Press firmly, and, before lifting the tamper, rotate it slightly, without pressing anymore, to smoothen the coffee surface.
Once you have perfected this technique, with the help of the De'Longhi tamper, which ensures ideal pressing, and using freshly ground coffee, you will be able to prepare a perfect espresso every time, just like a real barista.

De'Longhi DLSC060 milk frothing mug

Stainless steel milk frothing mug, capacity of 350 ml.
For a smooth and silky milk foam and for making a perfect Cappuccino or Caffe Latte. Milk, preferably cold, is poured into the mug, and, then, with the help of the espresso machine's steam nozzle, the milk gets frothed until the desired consistency is obtained.

Tips for cleaning and maintaining the espresso machine

To extend espresso machine's service life and to obtain the perfect taste in the cup, we recommend using De'Longhi accessories for cleaning and care.

Decalcification, performed whenever the espresso machine needs it, is crucial. The espresso machine is fitted with automatic decalcification process and it is recommended to use exclusively the De'Longhi EcoDecalk descaler solution. The EcoDecalk solution is powerful, fast, environmentally friendly and contains only natural ingredients. For decalcification, add 100 ml of EcoDecalk solution into the water tank, complete with fresh cold water and follow the simple instructions indicated by the espresso machine.

The De'Longhi water filter protects the espresso machine from the formation of limestone deposits and helps remove impurities from water, thus, improving the coffee taste. Under normal conditions of use, the filter can be used for 2 months, then, it should be replaced with a new filter, reducing, thus, the frequency in espresso machine's decalcification.
