Braiser saucepan, produced by Staub, diameter 26 cm, capacity 3.3 l, made from cast iron, with heat-resistant glass lid.

The saucepan is suitable for both frying and for stews, due to its high level of heat storage and conductivity. No matter what is prepared in the saucepan, the result is always very tasty. This is one of the reasons why cast iron cookwares have such a long tradition and are so popular in France.

The special shape of the glass lid, which comes with the saucepan, is ideal for obtaining succulent and delicious meals without using much fat or liquid, while at the same time you are able to observe the cooking process without removing the lid. The lid is fitted with a stainless steel handle, resistant to temperatures up to 220 °C.

Recommendations:
- Must be heated gradually and it is recommended that you cook over moderate heat - it helps to intensify the flavours. 
- Use oil when cooking - oils (fats) used during cooking will penetrate the pores of the matte enamel and create a smooth natural non-stick surface. That is why the Staub cookware become better and better as the years pass, as you use them.

This product can be used on all types of hobs, including induction hobs.

This saucepan is not suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher.
