For example, green tea tastes much better when brewed with water heated to 80°C, while people who prefer black tea or coffee will enjoy a richer flavour when the water reaches a temperature of 90–100 °C.

If 2 AA batteries (not included) are inserted and the electric kettle is not on base, the display will show the current water temperature.

Temperature maintain function

This function will maintain the temperature of the beverage for up to 30 minutes if the electric kettle is left on the base.
