The 2nd generation "Karu 2" oven produced by Ooni is the most advanced portable pizza oven, offering multiple fuel options for maximum cooking flexibility. Powered by wood or charcoal, it heats up quickly and is ready to use in just 15 minutes. It reaches high temperatures of up to 500°C, cooking authentic stone-baked pizza in just 60 seconds.

The Karu 2 oven is also gas-compatible. To expand your fuel options, you can use the gas burner by Ooni (sold separately).

Regardless of the fuel used, Karu 2 delivers delicious results. The oven preheats quickly and maintains a consistent temperature when fuel is added gradually.

The solid fuel tray, 45% larger than the Karu 12 model, maximizes airflow, resulting in a stronger flame that enables fast cooking. The body made from carbon steel, insulated with ceramic fiber, the 15 mm thick cordierite baking stone, and a patented flame retention system ensure maximum heat retention.

Temperature can be monitored using the integrated thermometer.

Karu 2 features a borosilicate glass door that allows you to keep an eye on your pizza without releasing heat, while ClearView™ technology prevents soot and ash buildup on the glass.

For safe handling, the SureGrab™ door handle remains cool to the touch.
