Salt pig's special shape makes it very practical and easy to use. The interior is not enameled so as to keep salt in optimum conditions. 

The HR® (High Resistance) ceramic developed in the Emile Henry laboratories withstands temperatures up to 270°C and distributes heat evenly across the entire surface of the product. The enamel used in finishing protects the product from scratches and chipping (you can cut directly on the product without leaving scratch marks), also making it dishwasher-safe.
