Round mini-saucepan with stand, diameter 11 cm, capacity 0.22 l, made of cast iron, Lava brand
The stand is made of beech wood, with diameter of 12 cm.
Cast iron is a material that heats up slowly but, once heated, it retains heat very well for a long time. Thus, the cookware are suitable for most cooking techniques, be it frying, slow cooking or oven cooking.
The thickness of the saucepan wall is 3 mm. On the inside, the product is coated with one layer of beige enamel that facilitates the formation of a non-stick surface when cooking with grease.
The vitreous enamel, the material used for the outer finishing of the LAVA cast iron cookware, is obtained by spraying glass powder at temperatures of 750 - 850°C. The glass powder adheres to the surface of the saucepan creating a protective layer that also helps to optimally distribute heat.
The thickness of the base is 5 mm, which makes possible for Lava cookware to be usable on all types of hobs, including induction hobs.
Do not use in the microwave.
