Cast iron is a material that heats up slowly but, once heated, it retains heat very well for a long time. Thus, the cookware are suitable for most cooking techniques, be it frying, slow cooking or oven cooking.

Features:
The saucepan walls' thickness is 4 mm. On the inside, the product is coated with one layer of black enamel that facilitates the formation of a non-stick surface when cooking with grease.

The vitreous enamel, the material used for the outer finishing of the LAVA cast iron cookware, is obtained by spraying glass powder at temperatures of 750 - 850°C. The glass powder adheres to the surface of the saucepan creating a protective layer that also helps to optimally distribute heat.

The thickness of the base is 5 mm. The LAVA cookware are compatible with any type of cooktops, including induction hobs.

This saucepan is not microwave-safe.
