Saucepans and cooking pots in the Apollo range have walls made of stainless steel combined with a thermo-conductive layer: InductoBase. The surface of cookware is finished using Silvinox technology. Thanks to the special Triplinduc alloys, it is possible for you to change the heat source at any time without compromising efficiency.
TriplInduc The TriplInduc technology results from the combination of 3 alloys applied over the basic surface of cookware. This process makes cookware suitable for all types of heat sources, including induction (due to the magnetic properties of the materials used), while allowing for changing the heat source at any time during cooking. Moreover, this process ensures a high resistance of cookware to deformation over time, so that they remain flat even after many years of use.
InductoBase InductoBase is a special surface consisting of 7 layers (contains a layer of about 5 mm pure aluminum) thus ensuring an optimal distribution of heat in any conditions. Thanks to this technology, cookware havind a wide base can be used on a small diameter hob because they are evenly heated.
Silvinox Silvinox technology consists of a unique electrochemical treatment created in Demeyere laboratories. Thanks to Silvinox technology, stainless steel does not lose its luster, shine and does not worn. The result of this technology is a durable stainless steel free of impurities with a surface very easy to wash.

The saute pans, conical saucepans and oval trays from the Apollo range are made of a state-of-the-art multi-layered material: 7-PLY.
7-PLY The walls of the frying pans consist of, starting from the inside, an outer layer of 18/10 stainless steel, 2 thicker inner layers of aluminum, which comprise a thick inner median layer of aluminum alloy, and 3 layers of special Triplinduc® alloys.
The thickness determines how heat is distributed. For these reasons, the 7-Ply material has different thicknesses depending on the type of cookware:
- 2.3mm for wok pans - 230°C at the base and 140°C at the side.
- between 3 and 3.3mm for conical pans for saute, saucepans and certain types of frying pans.
