11 speeds give you ultimate control

The Artisan® 5.6L mixer is designed with 11 distinct speeds, adapted to any recipe.
The 1/2 speed gently mixes delicate ingredients such as blueberries and egg whites, keeping the air in the mix as if mixing by hand. Then, slide through speeds, up to 10, for fast whipping. The soft start function minimizes splashes.

Bowl-lift system for enhanced efficiency

With its increased power and capacity, Artisan® Bowl-Lift Mixer processes any ingredient you choose fast and efficiently. This mixer is slightly taller and bigger than tilt-head mixers. The bowl locks firmly into place through the 3 locking points, making it more sturdier for heavy mixtures.

MAGIC IN SPIN

Thanks to the original planetary action, with the Artisan® mixer it is very easy to incorporate ingredients. Thus, the mixer head rotates in one direction, while the accessory turns in spiral in the opposite direction, with more than 60 points of contact with the bowl. All these for a much more homogeneous mixture.

PATENTED ACCESSORY ATTACHMENT HUB

The frontal hub for the attachment of optional accessories, patented by KitchenAid, has been in use since the first mixer built in 1919. Thus, you can attach optional accessories to the frontal hub, regardless of appliance's year of manufacture or model.
