Our kitchens have changed a lot over the years, but the ceramic material is still used for baking. That is why, Emile Henry has developed special this baking dish, which offers results very similar to those obtained in traditional ovens.

The lid allows for uniform baking and provides constant moisture, important aspects in preparing a quality loaf of bread. The small orifices in the lid will help bake a loaf with soft, elastic interior and crispy and golden crust. 

The HR® (High Resistance) ceramics, developed in the Emile Henry laboratories, withstands temperatures of up to 270°C and distributes heat evenly across the entire surface of the dishware. The enamel used for finishing protects the product from scratches and chipping (you can cut directly on the product without leaving scratch marks) making it safe for dishwasher.
