Staub products are manufactured from cast iron of very good quality with increased resistance to scratching and chipping, being easy to clean and with a long service life. Thanks to the materials used, cookware maintains its temperature, keeping itself warm long after it was taken out of the oven or taken off the hob. In addition to these technical qualities, their attractive appearance makes it possible to serve food at the table, directly from the cookware, immediately after it was taken off the hob. 

Features:
On the inside, the cooking pot is provided with a layer of matte black enamel produced by Staub through special technologies that offer advantages for cooking techniques such as simmering, baking or caramelization. Oils (fats) used during cooking will penetrate the pores of the matte enamel and create a smooth natural non-stick surface. That is why the Staub cookware gets better and better as the years go by, as you use it. 

On the outside, the cooking pot features a finish obtained by applying at least 2-3 layers of special pink enamel that, in combination with special cast iron, ensures optimal distribution of heat across the entire surface of the cooking pot.

The lid is flat and has small protrusions on the inside, which are responsible for creating the Aroma Rain effect and retaining moisture inside. This creates a "rain" effect that intensifies the flavours and facilitates the cooking process. The lid knob is made of brass. 

The special base makes it possible to use Staub cookware on all types of cooktops, including induction ones. 

The cooking pot is not dishwasher-safe.
