The De'Longhi CGH1020D electric grill is an innovative cooking appliance that will be a true helper in your kitchen.

This grill is equipped with 2 removable sets made up of grill-type plates and smooth, ribbing-free hotplates to help you cook efficiently and healthy, bringing out the best flavors of the grilled meat and vegetables or of your favorite breakfast dishes, such as bacon or pancakes.

This unique grill has 3 cooking positions:

Grill position, classic, both cooking plates are closed;
BBQ position, both cooking plates are open at 180°;
The ajar position, the cooking plates can be set at a certain distance one from the other (this position mimics oven cooking).

With a double cooking surface of 37x46 cm when the cooking plates are opened at 180°, this grill is perfect for cooking for the whole family or friends.

Cooking time and temperature can be adjusted separately for the 2 cooking plates, so you can cook different foods at different temperatures on each cooking plate.

6 Cooking Functions

The grill has 6 cooking functions which you can select as you prefer:
- panini press or grill – you can use 2 identical cooking plates (grill plate / smooth hotplate)
- fully open grill – you can use 2 identical cooking plates (grill plate / smooth hotplate) or a combination of the 2 types of hotplates
- "oven" - you can use 2 identical cooking plates (grill plate / smooth hotplate)

All you have to do is choose one of the 6 options, set the temperature level and the meal is ready. Cook easily and save time.

	Power 2000W The 2000 W power helps the grill to reach optimum cooking temperature in a very short time, to keep the temperature constant and to heat the cooking surface evenly.
	3 cooking positions

	BBQ position, both cooking-plates are open at 180°, ideal position for preparing meat or fish.
	The ajar position, the cooking plates can be set at a certain distance one from the other; this position mimics oven cooking and is ideal for delicate meats and gratinated recipes.
	SEAR function Keep the meat tender and juicy inside, crispy and caramelized on the outside with the help of the special "Sear" function. This function is independently adjustable on both cooking-plates to give that crispy crust that seals the steak without drying the middle part.
	2 sets of removable cooking-plates Start your day with fluffy pancakes. Raise the bar for lunch with layered panini. Turn your dinner into a treat with juicy steaks. The removable cooking plates, be they grill plates or smooth, ribbing-free plates, all made of cast aluminum, can deal with any recipe.
	Even heat across the entire plate The heating element embedded into each of the 2 cooking plates creates an evenly heated surfacefree of hot spots, for perfectly cooked food.
	Setting the distance between plates In the "oven" position, you can adjust the distance between the 2 cooking plates so that the upper cooking plate does not touch the preparation.
	Adjustable thermostat Get perfect results with the electronic temperature control system that ensures its constant and precise distribution. There are 2 independent buttons to set the temperature control separately for each of the 2 cooking plates, thus, saving you time by cooking different foods at different temperatures on each cooking plate separately.
	Timer You can set the optimal timeframe to cook your favorite recipes and the timer will let you know when your preparation is ready.
	Large LCD screen The bright and easy-to-read screen can be monitored remotely to control the cooking process (displaying the time and temperature of the cooking plate).
	Removable drip tray The grill is provided with a removable drip tray, easy to clean, which has the role to collect the grease leaked during preparation.
	Easy cleaning The smooth or grill-type non-stick plates and the drip tray are removable and easy to clean in the dishwasher. The spatula, which helps to drain greases, is also safe for cleaning in the dishwasher.
