The set is suitable for cooking with high-quality utensils away from home, for picnics or camping, and consists of:

• 1 folding knife with corkscrew, blade length 10 cm;
• 1 folding knife with serrated blade, blade length 12 cm;
• 1 folding peeling knife for fruits and vegetables, blade length 6 cm;
• 1 mini-chopping board made of beechwood;
• 1 microfiber cloth.

The knife blades are made of high-quality stainless steel.

Martensitic stainless steel
Hardness 55-57 HRC.
The stainless steel used in making Opinel blades is optimized to ensure high resistance to corrosion and high mechanical performance. The blade offers excellent sharpening and high resistance to abrasion (wear), allowing it to withstand regular contact with hard materials, such as ceramics, before needing re-sharpening. Stainless steel has the advantage of not requiring special maintenance under normal conditions of use, unlike carbon steel. However, it can reach its limits when in prolonged contact with an aggressive environment (acid, saltwater, detergent...).

Knife handle
Beechwood is the most commonly used wood for making Opinel handles. Sourced from France, the beechwood used is hard, easy to work with, and durable. With a uniform appearance, its light color varies from yellow to pink. It is characterized by the presence of numerous fine dark lines.

Safety ring
Invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955, the Virobloc safety ring is mounted on all folding knives starting from model N°06. Cut from stainless steel, Virobloc has two sections, one fixed and one sliding. In addition to locking the blade in the open position (safety during use), it is now possible to lock the blade when closed (safety during transport).
