With its conical shape and rounded edges, the cooking dish is ideal for all types of food that require frequent stirring, its shape allowing the cooking spoon to reach every corner. Try it with recipes such as vegetable rice with saffron and chicken breast or a creamy risotto.

Staub products are manufactured from cast iron of very good quality with increased resistance to scratching and chipping they are easy to clean and with long service life. Thanks to the materials used, the cookware maintain their temperature, keeping themselves warm long after they have been taken out of the oven or taken off the hob. In addition to these technical qualities, their attractive appearance makes it possible to serve the food at the table, directly from the cookware, immediately after they have been taken off the hob. 

Features:
On the inside, the cooking dish is provided with a layer of matte black enamel produced by Staub through special technologies that offer advantages in the case of cooking techniques such as simmering, baking or caramelization. The oils (fats) used during cooking will penetrate the pores of the matte enamel and create a smooth natural non-stick surface. That is why the Staub cookware get better and better as the years go by, as you use them.

On the outside, the cooking dish has at least 2-3 layers of special enamel that, in combination with special cast iron, ensures an optimal distribution of heat over the entire surface of the dish.

The lid is flat and has small protrusions on the inside, thus ensuring the preservation of moisture inside. Thanks to these characteristics, a "rain" effect is formed inside the dish, which intensifies the flavours and facilitates the cooking process.

The special base makes it possible to use Staub cookware on all types of hobs including induction. The cooking dish can be used in the oven (including for baking bread).

The cooking dish is not suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher.
