Product description
Paring knife N°112, made from stainless steel, with a blade length of 10 cm, produced by Opinel.

The knife has a beechwood handle, comfortable, lacquered, and painted in a nature-inspired colour.
Martensitic stainless steel
The stainless steel used in manufacturing OPINEL blades is optimized to ensure both high corrosion resistance and excellent mechanical performance.
The blade offers outstanding sharpness and high resistance to abrasion (wear), allowing it to withstand regular contact with hard materials, such as ceramics, before needing resharpening. Stainless steel has the advantage of requiring no special maintenance under normal use conditions, unlike carbon steel. However, it can reach its limits when exposed for prolonged periods to aggressive environments (acid, salt water, detergent...).
Stainless steel hardness: 55-57 HRC.
Handle
Made of beechwood. Sourced from French forests, this light-colored wood with few grain patterns is ideal for applying color. The handle is lacquered for protection against moisture and dirt.
