What kind of salt is recommended?

For best results, dry salt with crystals not exceeding 4 mm in diameter is recommended, such as rock salt or coarse salt. Do not use the salt grinder to grind pepper or sea salt, as the moisture in these types of salt can corrode the mechanism.
