Set of 2 grinders for salt and peppercorn, produced by Peugeot, 15 cm in height and made from beech wood.

With an elegant design, made of wood with a matt finish, the grinders from the Tahiti range have a distinctive feature: you can easily tell them apart from a distance, as the salt and peppercorn grinders are different colors.

The Tahiti salt and peppercorn grinders are made in France and are equipped with a grinding mechanism with a lifetime guarantee. The knob marked with P or S allows you to effortlessly adjust the grind size.

The mechanism of the salt grinders is designed to crush salt crystals. It is made of zirconium, an exceptionally hard material. It can produce anything from powdered salt to a coarser grind, depending on how tightly the knob at the top of the grinder is screwed.

In the case of the peppercorn grinders, the mechanism is equipped with 2 rows of steel teeth, in a spiral shape, which hold and guide the peppercorns for perfect grinding.

What type of salt is recommended?

For best results, dry salt is recommended, with crystals no larger than 4 mm in diameter, such as rock salt or coarse salt. Do not use the salt grinder to grind peppercorn or sea salt, as its moisture can corrode the mechanism.

What type of peppercorn is recommended?

Dry, hard black, white, or green peppercorns are recommended, with a maximum diameter of approximately 5 mm. Pink peppercorns may only be used in a blend (maximum 15% pink peppercorn) with one of the types of peppercorn mentioned above. Dried coriander seeds can also be used in Peugeot peppercorn grinders.
