Features:
On the inside, the saucepan is provided with a layer of matte black enamel produced by Staub through special technologies that offer advantages in the case of cooking techniques such as simmering, baking or caramelization. The oils (fats) used during cooking will penetrate the pores of the matte enamel and create a smooth natural non-stick surface. That is why the Staub cookware get better and better as the years go by, as you use them.

On the outside, the saucepan has at least 2-3 layers of special enamel that, in combination with special cast iron, ensures an optimal distribution of heat over the entire surface of the saucepan.

The lid is flat and has some small protrusion on the inside, thus ensuring the preservation of the humidity inside. Due to these characteristics, inside the saucepan is formed a "rain" effect that intensifies the flavours and eases the cooking process.

The special base makes it possible to use Staub cookware on all types of hobs, including induction hobs.
