Features:
Interior: the cooking pot is coated with a layer of matte black enamel produced by Staub using special technologies that offer advantages for cooking techniques such as braising, baking, or caramelizing. The oils (fats) used during cooking penetrate the pores of the matte enamel and create a smooth, natural non-stick surface. For this reason, Staub cookware becomes better over time, the more it is used.
Exterior: the cooking pot has at least 2-3 layers of special enamel which, combined with the special cast iron, ensure optimal heat distribution across the entire surface of the cooking pot.
Lid: the lid is flat and features small interior spikes that help retain moisture inside. Thanks to these features, a “rain” effect is created inside the cooking pot, intensifying flavors and making the cooking process easier.
Base: the special base allows Staub cookware to be used on all types of cooktops, including induction.
Dishwasher cleaning is not recommended.
