SENSOR GRINDING TECHNOLOGY
The Specialista Prestigio is equipped with 2 filters for different amounts of coffee grounds.
The filter for 1 cup allows up to 12g of coffee grounds and is suitable for a single espresso or coffee.
The filter for 2 cups allows up to 20g of coffee grounds, ideal for two cups of coffee, a strong double coffee, or using lightly roasted coffee beans.
Adjust the proper coffee dose by rotating the dosing selector in steps, starting from the minimum amount until reaching the mark indicated inside the filter. Both filters have a single wall, just like those used by professional baristas in cafes. If you are passionate about coffee, these are the preferred option as they allow greater control over the extraction, resulting in a full-bodied drink that captures all the aromas of the coffee beans.
ACTIVE TEMPERATURE CONTROL TECHNOLOGY
The “Active Temperature Control” technology maintains the water temperature throughout the entire coffee-making process to guarantee optimal extraction and an ideal result in the cup.
Each type of coffee requires a dedicated temperature to extract the best flavours. The 3 temperatures offered by La Specialista Prestigio allow you to choose the ideal water temperature for brewing, depending on the chosen coffee beans. The selected temperature remains stable during the brewing process for optimal coffee extraction.
The 3 temperature settings correspond to the ranges of 92° / 94° / 96 °C. These are the water temperatures inside the thermoblock and differ from the beverage temperature in the cup or the temperature measured when the drink flows from the portafilter.
SMART TAMPING STATION
Proper tamping of the coffee dose is essential for optimal coffee extraction.
The “Smart Tamping” system ensures this process is carried out evenly and easily; simply press the lever, and the espresso machine will apply the correct pressure on the coffee grounds. The maximum pressure is 15-20 kg, depending on the filter used.
DYNAMIC PRE-INFUSION
The pre-infusion is dynamic because the duration of this process is adapted to the density of the coffee dosage, ensuring that the entire surface is wet and uniform. This contributes to achieving a perfect extraction every time.
