2-piece 2 BRITA Maxtra PRO Pure Performance filter set

The BRITA MAXTRA PRO Pure Performance filter cartridge can be used with all existing BRITA filtering jugs, as well as with the Flow dispenser.

A MAXTRA PRO cartridge filters approximately 150 litres of tap water* (the quantity will depend on the water hardness level and its quality).

Fewer impurities: reduces impurities and residues of certain herbicides, pesticides, and pharmaceutical products**. Reduces lead, copper, and other substances that affect the taste of water.

Less chlorine in water: enjoy the good taste of water, coffee, and tea with full flavours.

Less limescale: protects the kettle and coffee machine from limescale deposits***, thus extending the life of household appliances. Ideal for regions with hard and less hard water.

Sustainable: made in Germany from 50% bioplastic material from renewable sources, certified by the ISCC PLUS label, recognized worldwide.

For a consumption of 2 litres of water per person per day and to achieve optimal results every time, we recommend replacing the MAXTRA PRO Pure Performance cartridge every 4 weeks or after filtering 150 litres of water. After the recommended period has expired, detach the lid of the filtering jug, carefully remove the funnel, then, holding the cartridge on both sides, pull it upwards.

How does the water filtering process work?

Simple! Through a relatively fast process (in approx. 1 minute), but not superficial at all, thanks to the 4 basic components of the MAXTRA PRO cartridge.

1. The first sieve stops the entry of coarse particles;
2. The carbon micro-granules derived from coconut shell reduce chlorine and other organic substances that can affect the taste and odour of the beverage;
3. The ion exchange resin retains metals such as copper and lead and reduces limescale deposits.
4. For a final filtration, water passes through a final sieve that retains even the finest unwanted particles****, being 4 times more efficient compared to MAXTRA+, making it ideal for old pipe systems.

The water is ready to be drank.

MAXTRA PRO is an economical and sustainable alternative to bottled water, with cartridges being 100% recyclable. Return the MAXTRA PRO cartridges to any KitchenShop store and we will send them directly to the BRITA headquarters in Germany for recycling.

The entire filtration process, as well as the quality of BRITA products, are tested both in their own laboratories and by organizations such as the renowned TÜV SÜD, which has certified that BRITA products comply with European standards in the food industry.
